McEndree Law LLC (“the Firm,” “we,” “us”) operates this website at mcendreelaw.com. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling any information you provide responsibly. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it.
Information We Collect
Contact form. We collect the information you voluntarily submit through our contact form:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- The practice area your inquiry relates to
- The content of your message
Client portal. For clients invited to use the secure document portal, we also collect and temporarily store:
- Your name and email address (used to create and identify your session)
- Files you upload through the portal
We do not collect or store payment information. We do not use tracking pixels or behavioral advertising technology.
How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Your submission is delivered by email to the Firm and is not stored in a database on this website. We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information may be shared only as required by law or court order, or with your express consent.
Third-Party Services
This website uses the following third-party providers, each of which processes data solely to perform its stated function:
- Vercel — website hosting
- Resend — delivery of contact form submissions and portal invitation emails by email
- Supabase — secure database and file storage for client portal sessions and uploaded documents
- Vercel Analytics — cookieless, aggregated, anonymized traffic data (page views and general geographic region); no personally identifiable information is collected through analytics
Cookies
This website does not use cookies to track or identify visitors for marketing purposes. No consent banner is required.
The client portal sets a single functional cookie (mcl_portal) when a client authenticates with their access code. This cookie maintains your portal session, is not accessible to browser scripts, contains no personally identifiable information, and expires within 24 hours or when you close your session. It is strictly necessary for portal operation and is only set for invited clients who have entered a valid access code.
Data Retention
Contact form. Submissions are delivered by email to the Firm and are not stored in a database on this website. They are retained in the Firm’s email inbox in accordance with the Firm’s internal document retention practices. If you would like your inquiry deleted, please contact us directly.
Client portal. Portal sessions are temporary. All files uploaded through the portal — by either the attorney or the client — are automatically deleted when the session expires or is closed by the attorney. Session records (name and email) are deleted at the same time. If you would like your session or files removed before the scheduled expiration, contact the Firm directly.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have submitted to us. To make such a request, contact the Firm at the information below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
